Welcome to this site dedicated to the Questions we need in order to deal with the Emergency Moments of our lives. Of course, every Emergency is really an Emergence-y. If we are guided by the right questions, then growth and personal evolution are the result of the trials and challenges of our lives. Think of Life as a Quest - a search for our better selves. Quest-ions are our tools for growing into who we are meant to Emerge as.
As a culture, we have become too "wrapped around the axle" with answers. Answers bombard us constantly from Cable TV, the Internet, PDAs, Books, Magazines, Webinars, etc., etc. But what Quest-ions do these answers address? Good answers to poorly formed questions do not have a positive impact on our lives.
Let's have a discussion about what the central Quest-ions of our lives are. Through your participant-generated discussions at this site's QuestionForum, I hope we'll be able to have a robust discussion about the Quest-ions we all face.
Please see on the right for information on how to get a copy of my book, In Case of Emergency, Ask Question. Through the use of timeless stories and compelling guides such as Hillel and Socrates, the wisdom of the ages reaches across the gulf of thousands of years to help us deal with today's issues. The book reveals the single question that serves as a universal guide to making the most important decisions of your life. Those who have read it have said the book positively changed the way they approach their lives after only the first reading.
Finally, I'd very much like to be sure that we stay in touch as this site develops. Please use our Contact Form to let me know that you'd like to be added to the eMail list.
I wish you many Happy Emergence-ies!

Praise for "In Case of Emergency" “This book showcases the list of questions that create the deeper wisdom work for professional coaches and consciousness raising professionals. If you are ready for the inquiry and realize that the right question will surface the truths and ah-has buried within, then this is one for your bedside table!” - Darelyn “DJ” Mitsch, Master Certified Coach, Past President -International Coach Federation, Author, Entrepreneur, Speaker, Inquisitive Mystic, and Mom “Will change your thinking, impact your life and forever stretch your mind to a new and powerful way of thinking. My reading In Case of Emergency … stopped me in my tracks, had me storming through the pages to learn his secrets and is a must-read for those wanting to view life through a new prism." - Ernest F. Oriente, President of PowerHour®, www.powerhour.com "Lable Braun has created a unique powerful work that quite simply has the power to change lives. His story telling acumen, his wise insight, and his unique perspective make this one of those books you're going to want to keep on the bedside table for years to come. I was profoundly moved by this book!" - Suzanne Falter-Barns, www.getknownnow.com & www.howmuchjoy.com “Lable’s works are always an interesting junction of philosophy, religion, history, literature, physics, etymology and original thought. And, his works are always provocative … Rather than helping to solve a problem or seek an outcome that is "right" or “correct” for now, the book offers an approach that can lead to something that is truly meaningful for a lifetime. Lable’s book is insightful and, most importantly, invites the reader to learn “how to savor a good question” - Diane Krause-Stetson, Coach. Consultant. Catalyst. ...for authentic and principled success – www.leadyourlife.com “Lable's book brings it all together. Through these intuitive, insightful pages, and if we slow down to the speed of conscious thought and pay attention to what unfolds as we absorb his words, we just might open the locks to the doors of who we really are. A 'must read'!” - Donna Karlin, Executive and Political Leadership Coach, Lecturer and Author “This is a short, sweet little book that packs a powerful punch! I have to admit that I was skeptical when given a copy of the book. I've had my fill of the spiritual/self-help genre in recent years and was quite honestly tired of it. But Lable's little book was like a cool drink of lemonade on a hot summer day - his simple approach and great stories are refreshing! If you are looking for a way to make big decisions quickly just by asking yourself one simple question then this is the book for you." - Tina Forsyth, Author of Becoming an Online Business Manager: Playing a Bigger Game with your Clients (and Yourself). “I think, therefore I am” only begins to establish a philosophical basis for individual existence, but how and what we think will determine who we become. In Case of Emergency, Ask Question offers useful, clear and provocative insight into ways to think and act effectively in this tumultuous and rapidly changing time. This is important reading for all of us and necessary reading for leaders. As a television interviewer of many major decision makers for over twenty years, I wish I could have had this book to recommend.
